Welcome from Senior Pastor Chrispin Wancique
Welcome toEben-Ezer C&MA Church. We’re so glad you visited our website today, and we hope you’ll visit Eben-Ezer soon in person. Here are answers to some of the most common questions people ask before coming to Eben-Ezer.
What can I expect at Eben-Ezer?
We hope you’ll feel warmly welcomed! The Eben-Ezer family is multi-generational. Dress tends to be business casual, but there’s always a range from ties to jeans. Children in 5th grade and up join in the worship services; nursery and age appropriate classes are provided for younger children.
When are worship services?
Our Sunday worship service is at 10:00 AM in the main Sanctuary, and lasts about 90 minutes.
Eben-Ezer worship services have a strong focus on the preaching of the Bible. Our music is a blend of old and new traditional and contemporary. Our goal is to glorify God and exalt our Lord Jesus Christ.
Be sure to allow a few extra minutes to park and check in young children. Greeters and ushers are in our Galleria (main entrance hallway) to answer questions, give you a newsletter, and help you find a seat.
How will I meet people in such a church?
There are many opportunities to meet people and become involved in small groups and activites at Eben-Ezer. To meet other newcomers and Eben-Ezer pastors, drop by the pastor office immediately after Sunday service. Located upstair to the right, this is a great place to ask questions, get more information about Eben-Ezerministries, and meet others who are new to Eben-Ezer.
Where is Eben-Ezer Church?
At the corner of South orange Avenue and Dover Street, in Newark, NJ. If you need to, get directions.
Where should I park?
When you arrive, you’ll want to park in locations near main entrances.
What is there for my kids?
There are Sunday Bible classes for children of every age, from nursery through gradeschool, plus a program for youth. Plan a few extra minutes to sign-in your children at the “Family Welcome & Information” center in the Galleria. Greeters there will help you register your children and locate their classrooms. Check out the Children’s Ministry section of our website for specific classes and activities. We have lots for kids at Eben-Ezer!
What if I have a question once I’m at Eben-Ezer?
If you have questions or need help at any time, look for Eben-Ezer ushers or greeters wearing name-tags – they can help you.
